The Part-time Adult Education Trainer is responsible for managing the instructional environment in the Adult Basic Education (ABE) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) programs.

  • Conducts workshops focused on a subject area or test-taking skills
  • Participates in curriculum, textbook and technology committees
  • Performs extensive documentation on student progress
  • Maintains student files
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Skills / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of experience in Adult Education or teaching ABE/GED
  • Familiarity with computer software and willingness to work in a computer lab environment
  • Must be able to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and/or Saturdays
  • POSITIONS MAY BE AVAILABLE AT VARIOUS CAMPUS LOCATIONS
