At MDC, there are multiple hiring processes for different segments of our workforce.
For the most part, MDC’s hiring process is decentralized, with qualified candidates screened
and referred to hiring managers by committees for faculty, and professional administrative
positions. For staff positions (non-exempt positions) Human Resources prescreens applicants
and works in concert with hiring managers. The recruitment for part-time positions is
coordinated by the hiring departments.
In order to monitor the hiring process for a position, refer to the status field of the position
posting. This field will indicate if recruitment process is in the phase of review, interview or
selection along with date.
If you have applied for a position, and have not received a response; don’t get discouraged. On
a continuous basis, new opportunities become available on our website.
