The Director of Recruitment Services is responsible for the overall operation and management of the Recruitment Department.

  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates personnel
  • Prepares and maintains budgets and maintains accurate records of expenditures
  • Resolves student issues and problems
  • Develops and implements all activities related to the recruitment and enrollment of new students, as well as the orientation of new and former students
  • Integrates all aspects of the campus community in the recruitment process as per a comprehensive enrollment management plan
  • Serves as the primary contact for community outreach
  • Serves on campus and college committees
  • Responsible for the Marketing and communication Plan for the Campus
  • Responsible for participation in all campus and community -wide activities
  • Develops and implementing strategies to attract students to the campus
  • Serves as a liaison with area public and private schools
  • Interprets and disseminates information regarding admissions policies and procedures
  • Actively maintains a prospective student database
  • Implements College policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Skills / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology or other related field and seven (7) years related recruitment and marketing experience
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software and specific computer programs related to area of responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evenings and weekends
