This Adjunct Faculty member teaches freshman and sophomore mass communication and journalism courses for students in the Associate in Arts and Associate in Science programs.

  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Participates in departmental and College affairs
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Serves on committees
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Skills / Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism from a regionally accredited institution; or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism from a regionally accredited institution
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Ability to function well in a technological environment
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
