This Faculty member teaches Anatomy & Physiology courses for students enrolled in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Vocational programs.

Teaches lecture and laboratory sections

Evaluates and advises students

Develops curricula

Maintains department standards

Recruits and participates in retention of students

Serves on committees

Performs other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements

Master's Degree in Biology with 9 graduate semester hours in Anatomy and Physiology or related discipline, or Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the related discipline; or a graduate degree in the Medical Sciences with appropriate coursework

All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution

Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to work well with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
