The Resource Advisor serves as both an advisor and a case manager for students with disabilities. This individual works with a team of Resource Advisors and Department Specialists to develop initiatives that significantly improve success rates for students with disabilities
Skills / RequirementsBachelor's degree in a appropriate field and three (3) years related work experienceAll educational degrees must be from an accredited institutionKnowledge of College Programs, advisement policies and proceduresPossess excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work with a large number of peopleAbility to manage multiple tasksAbility to work well in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staffAbility to work a flexible schedule to include days, evening and weekend assignments
